Ashley Larene Trujillo, known by her friends and family as "Ash" or "Smash", passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at age 30. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Ashley was born at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, CO on February 17, 1989 to Madeline Yvonne Vasquez. Ashley was the third of four children born in the family. She lived in Lakewood most of her life and attended Alameda High School and later attended Warren Tech for cosmetology. Ashley was artistic and had a passion to draw and color. She loved to joke around and make people laugh. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially during barbeques. She would make her own rap songs and took pride dominating opponents on any playstation game. Ashley was a selfless caretaker who was amazing at taking care of her grandmother Lillian Davalos whom was one of the most important people in her life. Ashley spent the last eight years with her fianc Jayda Meraz, they were inseparable since day one. Ashley will be remembered as strong willed and fiesty, but we all knew better than to get on her bad side. Above all else she was known for her loyalty and standing up for what she believed in.
