Audrey (Barnes) Pober

Audrey (Barnes) Pober, 77 , of Clearwater , Florida, a longtime resident of North Dartmouth, MA, passed away January 31, 2020 at her home. She was born on December 2, 1942 in New Bedford, MA to late John Barnes and Frances (Wicherski ) Ambrose. Mrs. Pober was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, and an instant friend to everyone she met. She was raised in Fairhaven, MA, and was a 1960 graduate of Dartmouth High School. She worked as a bank teller for more than 30 years, retiring from Compass Bank in Darthmouth. As a teller, she was always a favorite of customers, who were drawn to her positive, vivacious personality. After retiring, she moved to Clearwater in 2012. She enjoyed watching classic movies, and had an encyclopedic knowledge of films and actors of Hollywood's golden era. Survivors include a son, Jame Lach, and his wife, Marci, of St. Petersburg, FL; a daughter, Susan (Lach) LeClair, and her husband, John, of Carlsbad, CA; two sisters, Beverly Edwards of Mashpee, MA, and Christine Silva of Mattapoisett, MA; five beloved grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Adam, Brian and Jessica; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pober's family plans to celebrate her life with a memorial service in Fairhaven
