Arthur G. Donelan, 81, of The Villages, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018. Born on August 27, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY to the proud parents of John & Ida (Connors) Donelan, Artie was a retired Special Agent for the U.S. Treasury Department and a retired New York City Detective. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Pat; his daughter, Maureen (George) Pereira; his sons: Chris (Danielle) Donelan and Brian (Jennifer) Donelan and his seven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:00AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, FL with burial to follow with USMC Honors at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday. May 17 from 3:00-5:00PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arthur’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association @ www.alz.org
