Barbara Jean Ciresi (Birch)
August 29th, 1943 - December 31st, 2018
Age 75, of Rosemount, MN, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. She was born on August 29, 1943 in Ross, California, and was raised in White Bear Lake, MN. Barb received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from St Catherine's and spent her career working in Neonatal, OBGYN, and Hospice care, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Lakeview Nursing Home, and St John's Hospital bringing countless babies into this world and helping people leave gracefully. She married Jerry on July 11th, 1964. She was a great mother and was always encouraging others to develop a deep faith, focus on education, and to do your best. Barb was a leader in raising and showing English Springer Spaniels and was recognized as a "go to" person for that breed in the U.S. She loved to garden, cook, spend time with her grandkids, watch hockey games in "big blue", and traveling with her husband to many places. Preceded in death by her son, Robert; brother, Ron and parents, Homer and June. She is survived by her ever loving husband, Jerry; sons, Dave (Mary), Kevin (Candice) and Todd (Kim); grandchildren; Rachel, Ryan, Andrew, Elizabeth, Rory, Robbie, Logan, Alex and Aaron; also many nieces and nephews. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at The Rosemount Memory Care Unit who selflessly and compassionately looked after Barb this past year, especially Brenda, Jackie, Sylvia, Amy, and Ebbe.
