Bernard Meltzer, age 94, formerly of Hillside, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009 after a short illness. He was born on February 18, 1915 in Bayonne, New Jersey to Morris and Tillie. He was a sport star in high school earning a full scholarship to Hartwick College. After graduating with a BA Degree in business he began a successful career as a residential and commercial builder. Throughout his life he served on several boards of directors and was president of the YMHA in Union, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife, Roni; two sons, Wesley and Ted and one grandson, Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Muriel.
