Billie Jo Buckland, 73, of Weirsdale passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her home in Weirsdale. Billie Jo was a native of Beckley, West Virginia and moved to this area in 1982. She was a loving wife and mother. One of her greatest joys was riding her motorcycle, completing a cross country ride in 2008. She is survived by her children Kim (Richard) Clawson, Steven Buckland; partner Richard Bowers; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Buckland, parents, William and Joann Manning, and sister Kathy Manning. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Barnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Marion County.
