Blanche R. Ortiz

Mrs. Blanche R. "TIti Blanca" Ortiz, 89, of Davenport, Florida, died on Friday, October 15, 2016, at her home. She was born on May 22, 1927 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Jose and Justina Ortiz. She retired to Florida in 1995 from Rochester, New York after thirty-seven years of service as a tailoress for Hickey Freeman. She was of the Christian faith. Blanche was preceded in death by her sister and three brothers. Survivors include her husband of sixty-two years Angel L. Ortiz, a son Louis A. Ortiz of Davenport, and a brother Oscar T. Ortiz of Rochester. Also special love and thanks to her niece Aurora Cumba, niece Maria Luisa Jones and their families, along with many others in the Ortiz family. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Dr. John Glamann officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
