GASTON—A graveside service will be held for Bob Sheppard, 86, of Gaston at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family and friends may gather at 11:30 a.m. Mr. Sheppard died Sunday. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Vivian Sheppard; children, Debra Ann Bailey, Bobby Gene Sheppard and Dwight, Michael and Joe Bailey; numerous grandchildren; sister, Minnie Boyette and brother, Eddie Sheppard.
