Mr. Bobby Perry Barnes, age 72, a resident of Bartow, Florida passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Barnes was born May 4, 1951 in Tampa, Florida to William Perry and Sarah Eloise (Moody) Barnes, Sr. He was a resident of Bartow since the 1990’s coming from Tampa. Bobby was a retired Welder for Union 433 and a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam He enjoyed fishing and spending timw with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bobby is survived by his loving family, wife of 16 years – Susan Barnes; son – Bobby (Rose) Barnes, Jr.; 3 daughters – Barbie (Chad) Barnett, Monica Barnes and Jamie (Dalton) Barnes; stepdaughter – Sandy (James) LaPidus; 3 stepsons – Bryan Waddell, Matt Waddell and Jeff Waddell; brother – Billy Barnes; 3 sisters – Darlene (Jack) Taylor, Rosemarie (Eddie) Seger and Teresa Lasher; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A private celebration of Bobby’s life will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, June 10th at Teresa’s home.
