Bonnie May Lowe
July 5th, 1957 - March 4th, 2024
Bonnie Mae Lowe, 66, passed away on March 4, 2024, at North Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Loveland, Colorado due to complications from lung cancer.
She was born to Joseph (Joe) and Fern Kral on July 5, 1957, at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colorado. Bonnie grew up on the family farm in Woodrow, Colorado. She graduated from Woodlin High School and obtained an associate degree at Morgan County Community College.
She married William (Bill) Lowe on October 9, 1982. Bonnie and Bill lived in Lakewood, Colorado. In 1989 they moved to Mead, Colorado. They had a son Jason William Lowe on October 15, 1989.
Bonnie worked for the State of Colorado Department of Human Services, Colorado School of Mines, the University of Colorado, Denver Campus in accounts payable, the Department of Agriculture as Office manager, Secretary at Heritage Middle School to the Counselors, and Paraprofessional at local preschools in the St. Vrain Valley School district after retiring from the University system.
She loved to watch Jason play the many sports he was involved in growing up including T-Ball, Basketball, Soccer and Golf. She was Jason’s biggest fan. Bonnie was very active in the community playing Golf and being on the Women’s Golf league at Twin Peaks Golf Course. She picked up the game of Pickleball later in life. Bonnie loved to travel and wanted to be a flight attendant when she was younger. Bonnie liked going to church and loved Jesus very much. She enjoyed singing and listening to the awesome messages from the pastors at Greeley and Longmont Churches of the Nazarene. Bonnie enjoyed her family. She spent hours talking with her sister daily and doing activities with them often.
Bonnie is survived by her husband William (Bill) Lowe; son Jason Lowe; mother, Fern Kral; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was proceeded in death by her father Joe Sr.; four brothers, Marvin, Harvey, Joe Jr., and John Kral; and four sisters, Rosalee Simmons, Frances Landstrom, Shirley Sebesta, and Connie Faryna.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Longmont Church of the Nazarene, 2111 Mountain View Ave., Longmont, Colorado at 10:30 a.m. and is open to family, friends and the public. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
