Bonnie Jean Wait

Bonnie Jean Wait (Taylor) Age 85, of St. Paul, formerly of Crosby, MN Passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023 after several years struggling with Alzheimer’s disease. Preceded in death by husband, Clemmer Wait, parents, Glen and Rose Taylor, and brother, Vaughn. Survived by loving daughters, Shannon Schmeling, Margot (Mitch) Boeke, Patricia Jarman, Grethe (Birt) Stem; grandchildren, Andrea (Derek) Osborne, Max (Hannah) Faero, Alex Stem, and Ashley Stem; great-grandchildren, Otto and Blake; siblings, Marvin, Carole, Glenda, and Lydia. After meeting in St. Peter, MN and marrying in 1956, Bonnie and Clem raised their family in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood of St. Paul where she worked nights as an LPN, first at (former) St. Luke’s Hospital, then (former) Midway Hospital, and finally retiring from St. John’s Hospital, Labor & Delivery, in Maplewood.
