Bonnie Wheatley, 88, of Davenport, FL passed away on December 31, 2012 at her residence. She was born on October 15, 1924 in Edinburgh, Scotland to William and Annie Kerr Scott and moved to Davenport in 1966 from Ottawa, Canada. Bonnie was a homemaker and quite the chocolate connoisseur. Among Bonnie interests was playing bingo, watching movies and she was extremely social and active amongst her friends. She loved to travel, in fact she and her husband, Robert had spent 15 years travelling around in an RV and then there was gambling, some would even say she was a casino hound. Bonnie is predeceased by her parents as well as her husband, Robert Wheatley. She is survived by her children, Larry, Robert, William, Nancy and Darlene; sister, Nancy; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with Pastor Charles Harkala officiating.
