Bonnie "Lena" Willis of Haines City, Florida passed away on Tuesday February 18, 2014. She was born on June 23, 1934 in Colquitt, Georgia and moved to Haines City with her father, Idus Bowen and sister, Vertie Jean Bowen and has resided here ever since. Bonnie "Lena" Willis is survived by her husband, Kenneth C. Willis; her sons, Tim Willis and Larry Willis and sister, Vertie Jean Daniel. Lena was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Haines City since the 1950s and became well known for her southern cooking. Her husband and son, Tim loved her famous Butternut Cake, and a favorite at church socials was her Banana Pudding. She was always cooking something for various events at the church. There will be a visitation on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 10:00 am until the funeral at 11:00 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
