Brent C. Barker

Brent C. Barker, 51, of Lake Wales, FL, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. He was born June 7, 1969 in Orlando, FL to Charles Alvin Barker and Elizabeth Carol Kimber-Brown. Brent was a native of Florida, and a hard worker, in fact, he started as an electrician early in life and most recently was employed with Power Core of Tampa, FL. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and as well as a member of Ducks Unlimited. Brent had passion for music, fishing, buying and selling items on eBay and spending time with his family and giving to those in need. His true passion was being an Electrician. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Barker and father in law, Rodolfo Zamora. Brent is survived by his loving wife, of two years, Melva Barker; father, Charles Alvin Barker (Ellen), Ellen; mother, Elizabeth Carol Brown; son, Dalton Barker (Reyna Castillo) of Winter Haven, FL; daughter, Brittney Barker (Frank Bell) of Winter Haven, FL; brother, Bruce Barker (Julie) of Fultondale, AL; sisters, Tonya Barker of Ooltewah, TN and Carol Barker-Murphy of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Eli Barker, Mariah Barker, and Carson Barker; fur grandchild, Dolce; nephews, Trent Wesley Moan of Winter Haven, FL, Brantley Poole of Winter Haven, FL, Ryan Barerra of Lake Wales, FL, Bryan Barerra of Haines City, FL, Branden Barerra of Haines City, FL and Rey Zamora of Lake Wales, FL; niece Blayze Poole of Winter Haven, FL; great nephew, Keylan Barerra of Lake Wales, FL; brother in laws, Ruben Barerra of Lake Wales, FL, Rey Zamora of Dundee, FL and Bubba Zamora and wife, Marilyn of Lake Wales, FL; mother in law, Matilda Zamora of Lake Wales, FL; and many devoted friends. He will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
