Brian Douglas Carter, 45 Electrician DAVENPORT - Brian Douglas Carter, 45, of Spring City, TN, passed away on June 22, 2012 of heart failure. He was born in Haines City, FL on December 15, 1966 to Marvin Douglas and Sandra Dolores Carter. Brian was employed by Bectel Corporation. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 915 and was a former City Commissioner of Davenport, FL. Brian also enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He was a graduate of Haines City High School Class of 1984. Brian was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Dolores Carter. He is survived by his father Marvin Douglas Carter; stepmother Deborah Ann Carter; daughters Hannah Dolores Carter and Haley Brianna Carter and their mother Kimaley Ann Carter; maternal grandmother Estelle Waters; and various uncles, aunts and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held in Brian's honor Monday, July 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 East Grace Avenue, Haines City, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1920 South Florida Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33803.
