Broadus Lanny Laurens
June 10th, 1947 - April 13th, 2022
Broadus Lanny Laurens, 74, husband of Susan Vissage Laurens passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in Florida. He was born June 10, 1947 in Camden, SC to the late Kenneth and Martha Laurens. He was a 1969 Graduate of USC School of Business. He worked as a Field Deputy for the South Carolina Employment Security Commission for 36 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clermont, FL. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Edward Laurens (Melissa), and granddaughter Abigail Laurens. He was predeceased by his brother, John Danny Laurens. A Graveside service will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park on May 7, 2022 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation 12902 Magnolia Dr. Tampa, FL 33612 or online at give.moffitt.org/memorial.
