Bryce “Snuffy” Smith, resident of Boone, passed away on December 30, 2018, in his home, at the age of 69. Snuffy was born March 25, 1949 in Long Beach, California. After serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict, he relocated to Colorado. He enjoyed a fulfilling career as an industrial electrician. Snuffy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who served his country and community with dignity and honor. He was not only a hard worker, he was a thoroughly selfless man who was always willing to offer a helping hand to a neighbor, and adored his children above all else in life. He had a seemingly bottomless well of knowledge, patience, and love. Never one to shy away from a challenge, he invested himself in many hobbies with enthusiastic abandon. He is survived by his wife, Pam; children Clint, Clay, Cliff, and Veronica; grandchildren Maggie, Robbie, Cheyanna, Maxwell, and Lillian; and sister Myrna. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Evelyn. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 2:00pm at Vineland United Methodist Church in Pueblo, Colorado. A military honors service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado, date and time to be determined.
