I was pleased with the way All Veterans Cremation handled my brother's passing. Being from out of town, it was a little daunting trying to find someone to take care of my brother after he passed. However, I was a little disappointed that nobody was able to physically meet me at their Colorado Springs location. All of our dealings were via telephone communication. That process went well. They also handled sending my brother's remains and death certificates in an appropriate time-frame. All in all, the experience was as good as it could have been, given the circumstances. The only thing that would have made it better was an in-person meeting with their staff...

The people here were very professional and compassionate, both when my dad passed and also with my mom. They handled retrieving personal items from hospice and took care of the remains being interred at Ft. Logan. They seemed to be timely and efficient. Unfortunately, the month following my mom's passing, Social Security posted a payment into Mom's bank account. I called and asked All Veterans if they had reported Mom's passing to Social Security as they said they would. They replied very vaguely saying they probably did as they usually do. After the IRS denied me a EIN for the estate on the grounds my Mom was not deceased, I went to the Social Security office and found out All Veterans had not reported the death. It's now taken care of. I would use All Veterans again but regardless of who a person uses, double check that the death is reported to SSA.
