Bunt Ophelia Chandler

Bunt Ophelia Chandler, of Lake Hamilton, FL passed away on August 29, 2021 at AdventHealth Heart of Florida. She was 80. Bunt was born on May 26, 1941 in Gruetli-Laager, TN to Chester and Lou Caldwell Layne. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Hamilton, a homemaker and a member of Greenleaf River of Life Worship Center in Haines City, FL. Bunt was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved reading her bible, gardening and shopping. She will be truly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Odell Chandler. Bunt is survived by her sons, Danny Chandler and wife, Theresa of Haines City, FL, Randy Chandler and wife, Belinda of Haines City, FL and Tim Chandler of Lake Hamilton; daughter, Teresa Miller and husband, James of Haines City, FL; sisters, Mildie Tames of Davenport, FL, Brenda Tames and husband, Kenny of Dangerfield, TX, Martha Bossly of Winter Haven, FL and Velda Butler of NC; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. follow by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City with Pastor Justin Dennis officiating. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
