September 1st, 1924 - June 18th, 2006
C. Wade Duggan 81 of Venice, passed away June 18, 2006. He was born September 1, 1924 in Etowah, Tennessee. He came to Venice in 1998 from Warren, Michigan. Mr. Duggan worked for 31 years for the Chrysler Corporation in the legal department and also was Vice President for Marsch and McClennan until his retirement. He was a member of the Michigan Bar Association. He served in the United States Army during WW II. He was an avid gardener. He traveled the country camping with his family. He loved Florida and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He survived by his wife Lucille of Venice, One daughter Nancy Tingle and husband Dale of Tampa, FL two sons; Paul and wife Luci of Grand Rapids, MI. and Larry of New York City, NY. Grand children Erika and Alexander Duggan both of Grand Rapids, MI Sister Geri Underwood of Cleveland, Tn. half-sister Gail Hester of Athens, TN. And Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Duggan is preceded in death by son David, daughter Linda Byrum and sister Marguerite Torbett. A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Duggan on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 5:30 pm at the Lyle Elliott Funeral Home, 31730 Mound Road, Warren, MI 48092.
