Calffrey Wilder

Calffrey Dana Wilder III, 90, of Lake Alfred, passed away January 12 with family at his side at Good Shepherd Hospice. Cal was born in Alachua County, Florida to Calffrey Wilder, Jr. & Francis Lybass Wilder. Cal worked for Retail Credit Corporation, later Equifax, retired, then began a 40+ year career in real estate in Winter Haven. He was a United States Army veteran; long time member of First Baptist Church in Winter Haven; an avid fisherman and outdoorsman; proud University of Florida & Alpha Gamma Rho alumni; and a well-loved son, brother, father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Cal is predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Rebekah “Becky” Jarvis Wilder. He is survived by sons Mike, Clint, Steve, Alan, Larry, & Scott; step children Rick, Ron, Kandy, & Kim; sister Perky & brother Bill; 18 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. The celebration of life/memorial service will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday January 19th, at First Baptist Church, Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale.
