Camille Russo

July 7th, 1955 - June 30th, 2016

Camille Jean Russo, 60, died after a brief illness at TRU Community Hospice in Boulder, Colorado on June 30,2016. Camille was born on July 11, 1955 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Fred P. and Violet Jean Russo. She attended school in Grand Rapids until moving to Boulder with her family in 1963, followed by Sacred Heart of Jesus School and Boulder High School, and graduated from Mason County Eastern High School in Custer, MI in 1973. She earned a BA and a MA in Psychology from the University of the State of New York. She worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor in Ludington, MI, as well as volunteered as a Substance Abuse Counselor for children. Camille was disabled veteran honorably discharged after serving in the US Army, 1976-79. She is survived by five siblings, Kathleen Laird (Tom) of Kelso, WA, Gregory Russo of Loveland, CO, Valerie Russo (Doug Pearl) of Boulder, Mark Russo (Angelica) of Erie, CO, and Frederick B. Russo of Boulder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred (May 2, 2016) and Violet (March 2, 2016); and two sisters, Cynthia Russo (March 29, 2016) and Claudia Sullivan (September 10, 2014). A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Friday, July 8, 2016 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisville. Fr. Tim Hjelstrom will officiate. All are welcome to attend.
