Carl Meehan

Carl went home to the Lord on Sunday morning August 19, 2018.Carl was born February 28, 1944 in Toltec, Colorado.The son of John and Eva Meehan, Carl is survived by his loving wife, Georgina Meehan; two loving children: daughter, Naomi (Dave Chavez) Meehan-Chavez and a son, Bruce Meehan; step-daughters, Jody (T.J.) Jennings and Donna (Johari) Bowman; a brother, John L. Meehan; a sister, Juanita (Richard Ellis) Meehan; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Eva Meehan; three siblings that passed away as infants; and brothers, Pat Meehan and Floyd Meehan.Carl was loved by many. He was well known throughout Colorado for his great guitar playing and wonderful personality. In the 70's he moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. He started playing with the Latin 6 in the late 70's to early 80's. Carl started his own band called the Los Latinos.Carl also enjoyed taking care of his beautiful wife and spending time with his grandson, Chris Meehan. Carl cherished his family and friends.He will be missed by many.
