Carlos Ernesto Aguilar

Carlos Ernesto Aguilar, 79, of Provincia Del Oro, Ecuador, passed away, Friday, June 19, 2015 at Memorial Hospital Central. Carlos was born September 1935 in Provincia Del Oro, Ecuador to Virgilio and Teresa (Sanchez) Aguilar. On April 11, 1969 he married Leoba Salazar in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Carlos was employed as an electrician by several companies in New York. He enjoyed to work and retired 18 years prior to his passing. Reading, listening to music and spending time with his children and grandchildren was his passion. Carlos is survived by his two sons, Carlos Aguilar and his wife, Mandy Matthews of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Alberto Aguilar, New York; eight grandchildren, Justin Aguilar, Joell Aguilar, Jaden Aguilar, Isabella Aguilar, Eric Gossett, Danielle Gossett, Ryan Matthews and Tyler Matthews; his sisters, Carmen Romero of Long Island, New York and Sylvia Guaman of Ecuador; and several nieces and nephews.
