Carol Mary Fauls, 94, died peacefully at her Sarasota, FL, home on October 30, 2016. She was born Christmas Day, 1921, in Chicago, IL. Carol earned her Registered Nurse degree in 1944 at Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Thomas B. Fauls. They married in 1945 and together raised 6 devoted children in Chicago, IL, Northbrook, IL and Stamford, CT. Mom and Dad also resided in Vienna, VA, before moving to Florida in 1993. She had 9 loving grandchildren and 11 dear great grandchildren. A daughter, sister, spouse, mother, aunt, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Carol was always surrounded by those she loved and who loved her so much. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Osprey, FL, where a memorial mass will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 5. Memorial donations may be made to ""The Good Neighbor Fund"" at her home for the past 12 years, Bay Village, 8400 Vamo Road, Sarasota, FL, 34231.
