A funeral service celebrating the life of Carol E. Humphries, 57, of Columbia will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 with Reverend Ron Beard officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Serenity Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Humphries departed this earthly life on Monday, February 10, 2014. She was born in Columbia, SC to the late Robert Ketter and Marguerite Albert. Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are her husband of 37 years, Gary W. Humphries; a daughter, Mary Lynn Humphries; a son, Michael Humphries; three grandchildren; other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
