Carol A McKee
December 24th, 1936 - September 7th, 2020
Carol A. (Kmet) McKee passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 in St. Petersburg Florida at the age of 83. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Robert McKee and her parents Edward and Amelia (Emily) Kmet. She is survived by her sister Judy (Dan) Schneidewent, her nephews and nieces Michelle, Ed, and Mark Schneidewent and Sue Sillick along with many relatives and friends. Carol was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on Christmas Eve 1936. She attended St. Barbara grade school and Notre Dame High School. Later in life Carol returned to school and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Alverno College. In the 1980’s Carol moved to St. Petersburg. For about the past 20 years Carol lived at Sawgrass Estates where she made many friends. Among them is Nancy VanWagener with whom Carol shared her home. A sincere thank you to Nancy who looked out for Carol and to the nurses at St. Pete General who took compassionate care of her during her final days. A memorial service is being planned.
