Carol Noyes

Carol Jane Noyes was born October 31, 1936, in Denver, Colorado, to Minnie and Henry Newell. She was the baby of the family and spoiled by her siblings, all of whom predeceased her. Carol graduated from West High School in 1954. Carol married David Noyes in 1956, and he preceded her in death in 2003. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing softball, volleyball and bowling, and was an avid Rockies and Broncos fan. Her favorite pastime, however, was spending time with her family and friends — she loved family gatherings and holidays, going to breakfast with her brothers and sisters, playing cards, and restaurant outings. Carol loved the Lord and her church. She was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and participated in many activities with her sister Charlotte for many years. Carol will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family. She was friendly and kind to everyone she met, generous and forgiving. Carol is survived by her four children, Lori (Ron) Burhorn, Steven (Rebecca) Noyes, Pamela Livesay and Caron (Jason) Hay, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. No words can adequately express the love and gratitude for the amazing staff at Exempla Colorado Lutheran Home who provided care, comfort, and love to Carol for the last year of her life. They are angels walking on earth, and their dedication and kindness will never be forgotten. Memorial service, Friday, January 10, 2014, 11:00 am, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lakewood, Colorado, with a luncheon reception to follow.
