Carole B. Campbell of Nokomis, FL died September 25, 2006. She was 74. She was born March 27, 1932 in Quincy, MA and moved to the Venice area 33 years ago. She was a Medical Secretary for Venice Hospital having retired in 1996. She was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge. She enjoyed gardening and crafts. Survivors include son, Clay of Montrose, CO; daughter, Lori Manning and son-in-law, Rick Manning of Nokomis, FL; grandson, Kyle Manning; two brothers, Arnold Hebb, Jr. of Massachusetts and Gordon “Buzzy” Hebb of Florida; one sister, Marion Douglas of New Hampshire and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Julie Campbell and son, Bruce Campbell and sister Audrey Morrison. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, South Sarasota/Desoto Unit, 2801 Fruitville Road, Suite 250, Sarasota, FL 34237 or to the Suncoast Humane Society, 6781 San Casa Drive, Englewood, FL 34223 or to a non-profit organization of your choice.
