Carolyn " Denise" McCracken, 61, of Dundee, Florida passed away on November 25, 2014. She was born on May 5, 1953 in Winter Haven, Florida to Kirby and Virginia Thomas Thompson and moved back to Polk County in 1995 from Suwannee County, Florida. Denise was a homemaker, a Pastor's wife and a member of Ridge Community Church in Dundee, Florida. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, painting and cooking but mostly she loved her time with her family especially her children and grandchildren who affectionately called her "Mamoo". She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, of 40 years, Roger D. McCracken; her parents, Kirby and Virginia Thompson; children, Roger Dale and his wife Misty McCracken, April Gayle and her husband Peter Piotrowski, Darla Michelle and her husband Manuel Montesino, Chad Michael and his wife Tiffany McCracken; siblings, Steve Thompson, Darryl Thompson, Terry Thompson and twelve grandchildren. Denise is predeceased by her brother Kirby Lavoy Thompson. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2015 at Ridge Community Church, Dundee. Memorial donations may be made to Ridge Community Church 623 Dundee Road E., Dundee, FL 33838.
