Carrie-Ann Wendt

August 30th, 1972 - September 22nd, 2018

Obituary Carrie Ann Wendt, loving daughter, sister, aunt and wonderful friend, passed away with Cesar and her entire family by her side on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the age of 46 due to complications after a courageous fight with cancer. Carrie Ann was born on August 30, 1972 in Coleman WI to Ted and Judith Wendt. She grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Coleman High School in Coleman WI in 1990, then continued her education with a bachelor�s degree at University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1994. After College she interned in Pennsylvania, and after several years she moved to Colorado. She has had several jobs, but her passion was children. She taught pre-school and was also the assistant director of Homestar Child Development Center in Boulder CO. Carrie Ann loved the outdoors. She loved to hike, backpack and most of all dance. Carrie Ann is survived by her long-time boyfriend and soulmate Cesar Leon, parents Ted & Judith (Rhode) Wendt, Coleman WI, Sister Kayla Wendt, Appleton WI, brother Jacob (Stephanie) Wendt, Green Bay, WI, beloved niece Addison and nephew Braden Wendt, and other relatives and friends. Carrie-Ann�s memorial service 12:00 PM Saturday, October 6, 2018 Community United Church of Christ 2650 Table Mesa Dr Boulder, CO 80305 (303) 499.9119 www.cuccboulder.org Service begins at noon, followed by light refreshments, drinks, visiting and sharing. In leiu of flowers or gifts, if you would like to contribute to the fund set up to help defray some of the expenses you can do so through the following link: Carrie-Ann's Contribution Fund. Additional funds will be donated to a charity meaningful to Carrie-Ann. Services You can still show your support by sending flowers directly to the family, or by planting a memorial tree in the memory of Carrie-Ann Wendt
