Carrie Lee Goodwin
February 15th, 1934 - April 23rd, 2017
Carrie Lee Goodwin, 83, of West Columbia went home to be with her Savior on Sunday, April 23, 2017. She was born on February 15, 1934 in Gaston, South Carolina to the late Henry and Effie Lucas Spires. Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her four children, Molly Zeigler (Gary), Sam E. Goodwin, Jr. (Shelby), Faye Davis (Glenn), and Ernest Goodwin (Kathy); 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, 3 brothers, and 1 grandson. The family will receive friends at Congaree Baptist Church, 101 Pine Ridge Dr., West Columbia, SC on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 2-3 pm with a funeral service following at 3 pm. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
