Catherine Gonzales

Obituary It is with great sadness that the family of Catherine Gonzales, 64, announces her passing on March 8, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born on a beautiful day in May to Bernice Gonzales, she would be the first of 3 children. After the passing of her little sister Rosie in 1957, she would dedicate her life to caring for her family and others within the Longmont community. When she took the time for herself, she enjoyed reading, listening to music, crafting, and motorcycles. She also enjoyed spoiling her nieces as if they were her own, and bringing smiles to the faces of her great nephew and niece. There was nothing that she wouldn�t do for any of her family or friends, and as the sole caregiver to her mother, she would remain by her side until she gained her angel wings. Because her love for God was true and pure, her family takes comfort knowing that she is in a better place, safe from the pain. Cathy is survived by and will always be missed by her mother Bernice, brother Daniel and Sister-in-Law Fay, nieces Jacklynn (Levi), and Dawn (James), her great nephew Anton and great niece Cora, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
