Cecelia Maria Stein

Cecelia Maria Stein, 75, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, went to be with the Lord May 4, 2018 and passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born January 16, 1943 in Costilla, New Mexico to Demostenes and Domitila (Arellano) Gallegos. Cecelia cared for children as a daycare provider and loved spending time with her family. She was a gifted cook, generous hostess, loved going to yard sales, visiting her cabin, and tending to her flower garden. Cecelia married her high school sweetheart, Felix Julian Stein, in 1961 and is survived by her husband; sisters, Romaine, Kathy, Gina, Rita, and Geraldine; brothers, Bobby, Amos, and Rudy; daughters, Brenda (Scott Hutcheson) O'Brien, and Andrea (Josh) Gutierrez; son, Terry (Shelley) Stein; grandchildren, Teresa (Chad) Gaskie, Sarah O'Brien, Julian Stein, Kenny O'Brien, Denay Stein, Carlos Stein, Carmen Gutierrez, and Margo Gutierrez; and four great-grandchildren, Matthew Bedford, Liam Gaskie, Gage Stein, and Nadine Marcinek; she leaves behind numerous relatives and friends.
