Charles Calvin Bedenbaugh, 69, of Lexington, SC, passed away May 19, 2017. He was born in Newberry, SC, to Mary Wilson Bedenbaugh Brantley and to the late Charles Edward Bedenbaugh. Charles was employed for 40 years as a parts clerk/manager for the construction equipment industry. His employers included Case Power and Equipment; American Equipment; and Briggs Equipment. After retiring, he worked at Horse Sense Tack and Feed in Redbank. There Charles made many friends. He also loved sitting in his garage and working on his old cars. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Tracy M. Bedenbaugh of Lexington; his children, Mitchell (Sandra) Bedenbaugh of Holly Hill, Michele (Ryan) Lindner of Lexington and Colt Bedenbaugh of Lexington. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren, Cory, Kirsten, and Coleman Bedenbaugh and Abigail and Tanner Hawkins. Also he leaves his siblings, Sally (Greg) Estees, Mary Rowe, Pat (Brenda) Bedenbaugh and Charlene (Rick) Amick; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 213 St. John's Church Road, Lexington on Sunday, May 28, 2017. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the St. John's Lutheran Church parish building immediately following the burial. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Ashton Miles, Ryan Miles, Calvin Turnage, Tyler Turnage, Jamie Jeffcoat, and Kevin O'Neal. The family would like to thank Dr. Anne Hutchison and her staff at SC Oncology; Dr. Dana Nairn; and the third floor telemetry and eighth floor oncology nurses and techs at Palmetto Baptist Hospital. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 213 St. John's Church Road, Lexington SC 29072.
