Charles Thomas Furtick, Jr, 39, of Lexington, SC passed away September 18, 2016. He was born in Columbia, SC to Charles and the late Mary Neese Furtick. Charles is survived by his loving wife Wendy Smith Furtick of Lexington; his son, Charles Furtick, III and his daughter, Bridgett Furtick both of Swansea; and his step daughters, Jessica Jay, Brianna Colon and Carrie Steele. He also leaves behind his sister, Cassandra (Rusty) Sharpe of Swansea and their children, Dalton, Kaitlyn and Meagan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 7-8PM. A celebration of his life will be at 8PM.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
