Charles Thomas Glasscock, 93, of Auburndale, FL passed away on December 4, 2020 at Winter Haven Hospital. Born October 20, 1927 in Hollow Rock, TN, he was a resident of Auburndale for most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of East Temple Baptist Church in Winter Haven. Charles enjoyed early morning fishing and hunting with his children and grandchildren. He loved his church family and was known for his fish fry cook outs. Charles was an avid storyteller who shared many tales with his family about his life experiences Charles is preceded in death by: his wife of 65 years, Patsy; two brothers; and four sisters. He is survived by: two daughters, Donna Faye (Charlie) Brockstedt of Lakeland, FL, and Cathy (Harvey) Carver of Auburndale, FL; two sons, David Lee (Hope) Glasscock of Canyon Lakes, TX, and Charles Randolph (Patricia) Glasscock of Winter Haven, FL; seven grandchildren, Mark Handley, Melissa Glasscock, Tim Glasscock, Amanda Bell, Samantha Hicks, Richard Glasscock and Christopher Alcorta; nine great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. Private services will be held for the family. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
