Charles John

Charles Robert St. John (Chuck) passed on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the Sierra Community Care center in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born August 23, 1929 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Wesley D. and Emma (Robbins) St. John. He was a graduate of Breckenridge High School and attended Colorado University. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in July 1948 and served in the famous Chosin Reservoir battle of the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on November 20, 1952 and married Rose Campbell on August 6, 1960. He bacame an Allstate Insurance agent in 1961 and went on to earn his CLU. In 1975 he married Marlene Boyd McGaw St. John and retired from Allstate in February 2001 as one of the top producing agents in the Denver area. Chuck was a friend to all he encountered, enjoyed spending time at his mountain property, and remained an active participant in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His upbeat personality influenced his neighbors, clients, family and friends. He is remembered not only for his integrity, but also for his kind heart and generosity. He is survived by his wife Marlene St. John, brothers Wesley St. John, Donald (Char) St. John, sisters Delores (Larry) Ring, and Maime (Bob) Consolver, children Loretta (Kevin)Siebert, Suellen (Gary) Eichman, Jeff St. John, Michelle McGaw, Robert (Jeryl) McGaw, James (Lana) McGaw. he is also survived by grandchildren Rhiannon McGaw, Christina Akers, Terin Foster, Hans Eichman, Steven & Jeremy Hilt, Zach Feeley, Skylar McGaw, Jacob Feeley, Isaiah Feeley, Abrianah McGaw, Noah Reger, and Elijah McGaw, and great-grandchildren Jadyn McGaw, Lauralei Akers, Laekyn & Carsen Hilt, and Cody Foster. He is also survived by many neices, nephews, and loving relatives. Interment Friday November 7, 2008 10:00 AM Ft.
