Charles Benton Mosley

Charles Benton Mosley, 85, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away with family by his side on Monday, February 1st. Benton was born on June 3, 1930 in Phoenix, Arizona to Fay Helquist Mosley and Palmer Duncan Mosley. He spent his entire life in the Phoenix area, except for a few years when he lived in Blanding, Utah, and when he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Southern States Mission. Serving others was very important to Benton. As a life-long, active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and as an active member of Sertoma International, he was in the service of others for many years. Professionally, he was a banking executive with Western Savings and Loan, a real estate investor, and an entrepreneur. In his spare time you would have to look for Benton and his wife Margie in their RV, somewhere beyond the horizon. He was preceded in death by his mother Fay, brother Harold, and father Palmer. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 64 years, Margie Driggs Mosley; sons Greg Kris Mosley and Chris Jacque Mosley, daughter Janna Richard Zinke, and sons Paul Susan Mosley and Keith Kim Mosley. He is also survived by his older sister, Irene Kurtz Portland, Oregon. Benton is also survived by a posterity of 18 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held, Friday, February 5th from 6pm to 8pm at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 North Macdonald, Mesa, Arizona. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 6th at 10am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1720 South Ironwood Drive, Apache Junction, Arizona, with a viewing prior to services at 9am. The family would like to thank the many who assisted in bringing comfort to Benton over these past many months, especially Heart Prints Care and Reflections Hospice Care. Thank you.
