Charles Anthony Pisano
July 29th, 1932 - November 26th, 2014
Charles Pisano passed away peacefully on November 26, 2014 at his home in Monterey, California. Charley was born in Montclair, New Jersey in 1932. The son of Charles and Mary Pisano, he was the eldest of three children including his sister Mary (Maureen) and brother Anthony (Tony). During the Korean War, Charley served as a signalman in the US Navy aboard the USS Marquette (AKA-95). After the Navy, He lived in Miami Beach, Florida where he married his wife Mary. Returning to New Jersey, Charley and Mary had their first son Michael, followed by their sons Charles and David. Charley worked to support his growing family, including serving as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service. In 1979, Charley returned to Florida and lived in St. Pete Beach for over 30 years, where he worked in the security field. He spent his last four years living in Monterey near his son David's family. Everyone loved Charley. He would often be seen riding his scooter through downtown Monterey on his way to the coffee shops. He is survived by his three sons, his brother and sister, and his many grandchildren. Please don't send flowers. Instead, have a toast in Charley's memory.
