Charles Edward Preston October 19, 1936 ~ May 22, 2018 We knew little that morning That God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, that day God called you home. Charles Edward Preston went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2018 at his residence in Aurora, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 19, 1936 in Washington D.C. to his parents Carl Preston and Dorothy Jobson. Charles served his county in the United States Air Force from 1959 - 1962. Charles is preceded in death by his parents Carl Preston and Dorothy Jobson; Sisters, Gail Welgan and Carlotta Scudder; Daughter-in-law Cecilia Preston. Those to cherish his loving memory is his wife Mary Frances Preston; Children, Chuck (Jenny) Preston, Greg (Lita) Preston, Daniel (Jamie) Preston, Tim (Donisia) Forrester and Barbara Lanphere; Grandchildren, Dwayne (Chandy) Preston, Ryan (Marilyn) Preston, Lauren Preston , Megan Preston, Nathan Lanphere, Stephanie (Alonzo) Ugboaja, Tim Forrester, Jared Forrester, Damien Preston, Christopher Preston, Raymond Preston, Rebecca (Sean) Sheehan, Christian Vasquez, Ashley (Ryan) Pittman. Stetson DeLeon, Doenisha Forrester, Great Grandchildren, Keeley Preston, Jenson Preston, Zoie Preston, Adam Preston, Abby Preston, Julian Ugboaja, Serenity Pittman, Gabriel Sheehan, Haley Preston, Mackenzie Preston, Scarlett Preston and Piper Preston; Siblings, Barbara Bunch; and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Romero Chapel Aurora, 15150 E. Iliff Ave, Aurora, Colorado. Funeral Service will be Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:30am at Citypoint Church, 200 S. University Blvd., Denver, Colorado.
