In loving memory of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Friend Born: July 16, 1945 Deceased: October 30, 2016 Chester James ""Jim"" Endy, Jr., 71 years of age, passed on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Jim was born July 16, 1945 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, to the late Chester (Sr.) and Ana Endy. Jim married his soulmate and love of his life, Linda, May 23, 1964. The two of them were the embodiment of what marriage is supposed to be, love, work, commitment, and more love. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Endy, his children Beverly (Randy) Knight and Chris (Michele) Endy, Sr., and his precious fur baby Tia Maria; his grandchildren Crystal (Alex) Robinson, Christopher Endy, Jr., Aulbri Johnson, Caitlyn Endy, Hali Little, Randy Schwartzbauer, Brittney Willax, Leanna Willax, Destiney Willax and Katrina Endy; his great-grandchildren Kyler Fernandez, Brayden Fernandez, Bentley Endy, Shelby Robinson, Brooke Endy, Ivy Allen, Aiden Jones, Landen Jones, & Zaeden Tamboles; his siblings Joan ( Barry) Buckwalter, Marcia (Dennis, Sr.) Kreitz, Paul (Nancy) Endy, and Cheryl (Ron) Seidle. He was preceded in death by his son Mark Anthony Endy, his mom, and his dad. Jim and his family moved to North Port, Florida in 1983. Jim was a member and formerly an usher at San Pedro Catholic Church. He drove for Don Gasgarth Ford. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and making people happy. No one ever left his house hungry or wanting for drink. He was the biggest Eagles fan ever! Chuck Bednarik, known as one of the most devastating tacklers in the history of football, kissed Jim's Eagles ring. Jim was also fortunate enough to enjoy an Eagles' game from Leonard Tose's (previous Eagle's owner) box. His spirit for the Eagles was never-ending! He bled green. Jim (Pop Pop) will never be forgotten! His memories and stories will be passed on for years to come! Fly, Eagles Fly! Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 6th at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, November 7th at San Pedro Catholic Church. Interment with honors will follow the Mass at Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Jim Endy Memorial Fund, c/o any Wells Fargo Bank branch.
