Christina Ann Bailey, 77, of Venice, FL, formerly of Woods Hole, MA, passed away on December 26, 2007. She was born in New Bedford, MA on October 12, 1930. Mrs. Bailey had received her education from the New England Deaconess Hospital and had attended Simmons College. For 34 years she served as Director of Nurses for the Royal Megansett Nursing Home in North Falmouth, MA. After retiring in 1993 she began to coming to Venice part-time and later full-time in 1997. She was a member of the Venice East Golf Club and was Episcopalian. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Garnhum of Venice; Christine Starosta and husband Martin of Venice; grandson Brandon Garnhum of Cape Cod, MA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Hurlburt in 2005.
