Christine "Chris" Nichole Gallagher
January 1st, 1972 - June 2nd, 2024
Gone but not forgotten
Christine Nichole Gallagher lovingly known as Chris, 52, of Palm Bay, FL passed away on June 2nd 2024 after a long-term battle with her health. Chris passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones just as she had wished.
Chris is survived by her Wife Mandi Gallagher, her Daughter Mackenzy Weaver, her daughter-in-law L. Brooke Weaver, her best friend Trisha Rogers lovingly known as T as well as many friends, and extended family members.
Christine had many struggles throughout her life. She struggled with untreated trauma and often battled with her mental health, because of this she was often misunderstood. As her daughter, I feel it is important to say that because I don't want it to overshadow who she was as a person. Chris was caring, she had an amazingly witty sense of humor, she was smart, she was strong and fiercely independent. Chris loved to celebrate her loved ones birthdays she would go all out with decorations and presents. She found joy in making others feel loved and wanted. Sunday dinners at her house were always the highlight of her week!, she loved spending time with her wife at home cooking dinner and watching The Big Bang Theory, she was an avid true crime fan, and always up for a good family game night. No matter the cards she was delt in life she always did the best she could. Till the very end, she was extremely brave and her strength was admirable. With her absence comes a deep sense of loss and that speaks to the impact she had on those who came to love her! Christine will be deeply missed, but she will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her time here on earth.
Following her death she was greeted by her Mother, Patricia G. Love, and her Grandmother, Virginia Bucci who guided her into eternal rest and with that we find comfort.
Christine wished to be cremated and brought home without a service so we will be honoring her wishes.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the National Alliance on Mental Health in her memory, but most importantly remember to take care of yourself that's exactly what she would want.
