Memorial

On Saturday, August 6, 2022 Christopher Alanzo Behne "Guero" loving father of Me'zyiah King Behne and son of his beloved mother Maria Marquez passed away at the age of 44. Chris was born on July 4, 1978 (a true firecracker 4th of July baby) in Denver Colorado to Maria Delores Marquez. Chris was an incredible artist and self-made general contractor. He loved creating works of art and using his hands to custom design and construct a wide variety of things. His talent was immeasurable, and all inspired by his complex and creative imagination. Whether it be restoring a beautiful home or to custom making an epoxy work of art, he thrived in ways in which his heart soared when he was engaged in his handiwork and artistic flow. Artistry, design and using his hands was what brought him the most peace. His most precious work of art hands down was his son Me'zyiah. Oh, how he loved him so! He would express to all he knew how Me'zyiah was the best thing that ever happened to him. Chris and Me'zyiah were the best buds ever. Chris knew in his heart that Me'zyiah was his greatest legacy and contribution to this world and wanted nothing less than what was best for him. Me'zyiah will greatly miss his daddy whom he loved more than anything. Chris was best known for his infectious smile, his kind and compassionate heart and his rebel spirit. Chris is survived by his mother Maria Marquez, his stepfather Adolfo "Pops" Hernandez, his son Me'zyiah King Behne, his brother Pablo and "sis" Bernadette, his brother Adrian and sister-in-law Tonie, his beloved nieces Jelly-Bean and Stasi, his nephew Pablo II, along with several additional nieces and nephews, aunties, cousins, extended family, friends and loved ones that will surely miss his fiery presence. His family will be hosting A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Romero Family Funeral Home located at 1805 S.
