ELGIN-Funeral service for Christopher "Morgan" Brown, 28, of Elgin, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 2969. The Reverend Clint Lawyer will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9th at the funeral home. Graveside service will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 2800 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC 29203. Chris passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014. He was born October 2, 1985 in West Columbia, SC. He was the son of Curtis M. and Linda K. Brown. He graduated from Lexington High School in 2003. He is survived by his parents, Curtis and Linda Brown; maternal grandmother; Betty Roland; paternal grandparents, Dave and Flonise Brown. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special thanks to Mary and Matt Rymer, they were good friends in a time of need.
