Christopher Buck Lawler

On January 13, 2021, Christopher B. Lawler, loving father, husband, son, and brother, died at the age of 37 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Chris was born February 24, 1983 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Connie and Richard Lawler.After graduating with honors from Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2001, earning the rank of Sergeant. He proudly served his country in Iraq and cherished his Marine brotherhood. He continued his service as a contractor in Iraq. His life will be honored for his service and bravery.Chris attended Trinidad State Junior College for two years and completed his Bachelor's degree magna cum laude at the University of Northern Colorado. He later pursued his dream of flying and became a commercial pilot. Most recently, he worked as the Director of Training for Boutique Air in Denver where he excelled as an instructor and valued the lasting friendships he made. The best of Chris is left behind in his sons, Charles (10), Eric (3), and Nathan (6 months). He was a creative, loving father and would have taught them so much. Many days were spent teaching his boys how to cook, watching Transformers, and having wrestling matches. This past Halloween he sewed Star Wars costumes for his family. His presence in their lives is irreplaceable. Chris was an intelligent man of many talents with a vision for homesteading on his beautiful Park County property. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Richard F. Lawler; and his brother, Eric S. Lawler. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Lawler (sons, Eric and Nathan); ex-wife, Natasia Cosgrove (son, Charles); mother, Connie Lawler; sisters, Dawn Taylor, Lynn Brashar, and Kim (Nate) Dowden; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins residing in Ohio, New Jersey, and Colorado.
