Connie Marie Bachman LEXINGTON:Funeral service for Connie Marie Bachman, 70, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, in the Bethel Independent Bible Church, officiated by Rev. Jonathan Kaminer. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. this (TUESDAY) evening at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Memorials may be made to South Carolina Oncology Associates, Care Foundation, P.O. Box 2046, Attn: Meredith Anderson, West Columbia, SC 29171. Mrs. Bachman, wife of Ted E. Bachman for 38 years, died Sunday, March 6, 2011. Born in Blythewood, SC, she was a daughter of the late Conover Lee Boney and Gladys Fernell Sharpe Boney. She was a member of Bethel Independent Bible Church; and was retired from Concept Unlimited. Her hobbies were crocheting, cooking and genealogy; she also enjoyed her dogs, flowers, going to the flea market and their place at Santee. Surviving are her husband, Ted Bachman of Lexington; daughters, Lisa Boney, Wanda P. Hilley (Joel) and step-daughter, Kathy Ford (Gene) all of Lexington; sons, Steven D. Palmer (Lisa), Michael A. Palmer (Nora) and step-son, Deron Bachman (Pam) all of Lexington; brother, Norman E. Boney of Lexington; thirteen grandchildren, Jeramie, Chris, Mike, Dusty, Andrew, Ty, Nicky, Brandon, Kristen, Kylie, Ashton, Heather and Joshua; and six great grandchildren.
