Connie Diane O'Brien passed away on March 27, 2018 in Venice, FL. She was born on May 27, 1939 to Michael and Connie Carfagno in Syracuse, NY. Previously of Watertown, NY, Connie relocated to Venice in 1985. She owned and operated Sparkle Cleaning Service. Connie was known to everyone as ""Nana"". Nana was very close to all her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them as much as she could. She also loved watching the New York Yankees, and her favorite pastime was playing bingo. Connie is survived by her four children, Diane, Wendy, Tim and Mike (Memoe), all of Venice, FL; her 11 grandchildren, Diane's children, Jasmine, Jade, and Joseph; Wendy's son, Christopher; Tim's children, Morgan, Logan, Kallyn, and Hollyn; and Mike's children, Quinton, Devon, and Jordan; her blessed great grandchildren, Jaylah, Kendall, Jackson, and Paisley; and her brother Michael, of Syracuse, NY. There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 3PM to 7PM at Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory, 265 S. Nokomis Avenue Venice, FL, with a Prayer Vigil at 6PM.
