Connie was the daughter of Elmer and Fusa Walker; sister of Carol, Linda, Alice, Lola, Peter, Dorothy and David; and the aunt of BJ, Sule, Aziza, Nikki and Symone. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and served as the Store Manager of her family's store until recently retiring. Connie enjoyed reading, cooking organic foods and living in the historic Old Colorado City area.
